LIN Yuan Shang
Born in Taipei - Taiwan, LIN Yuan Shang entered the Peking Opera school at age eleven and specialised in warrior roles and acrobatics.
However, he suffered from the rigid aesthetic he had to respect, and, after a few years within Peking Opera companies, he decided to study other theatrical languages.
He arrived in France for the «Festival du Cirque de Demain» - and was noticed by Ariane Mnouchkine. He worked with her from 1986 to 1988. In 1994, he settled in France and worked with Maguy Marin before starting personal work.
His first solo, On which voyage are you taking me tonight ? Created in November 1996, was warmly welcomed and opened the gate for an international diffusion. |

Caroline GROSJEAN
After a training in classical and contemporary dance, Caroline Grosjean worked with the companies Almost a thing-Sarah Manya, Loulou Omer, Richard Mouradian and Ximena Walerstein.
From January to June 1999, she was a trainee at the National Choreographic Centre run by Mathilde Monnier in Montpellier.
She received a grant at the Martha Graham Dance Company the same year. She joined the Compagnie Eolipile for A spark of Eternity (March 2003), and took part at the creation of Flight (2004). She is Yuan Shang’s assistant on the show La matière de nos songes created in 2005 for the students of the National Circus School, Rosny, France. In 2007, elle obtains the french State Diploma od dance teacher.
She works now on her first choreographic performance which would be created in 2009 June. |

Caroline DESMAISON
After an education in contemporary dance at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Caroline Desmaison worked with several choreographers such as Hervé Robbe, Franck Apertet, Annie Vigier, Philippe Tréhet.
Through her professional experiences and choices, she discovers other artistic fields such as singing, acrobatics, and street arts.
In 2004, she joined the company DCA of Philippe Découflé for the performance IIris . She is also working with the Company Nouveau Jour. She joined Compagnie Eolipile in 2006 for A spark of Eternity and Small Travelling Choreographic Plays.
She has the French State diploma of dance teacher.
In 2008, she performs the solo In-Between created to her by LIN Yuan Shang. |

Li Li CHENG
Born in Taipei in 1972, CHENG Lili was trained in traditional Chinese dance, classical and contemporary dance at the Hwa-Kung Arts School of Taïwan. She graduated then at the Chinese Culture University of Taïwan. She continued her education in Europe, at the London Contemporary Dance School between 1995 and 1997, and joined in this context the 4D Dance performance group. She danced with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Company, and took part in choreographic research workshops with Lea Anderson, Wayne McGregor and Wendy Houston. Between 1998 and 2000, she worked with Michèle Noiret and Yann Lheureux. She is also invited artist for the Company Capital Ballet Taipei (LI Mei Koang) in Taïwan.
Since 2000, she is a dancer within the Christiane Blaise Company.
She works with the company Eolipile in 2003 for the performance A spark of eternity. |

Sun Chen-Huei
Multimedia
Born in Taïwan, Sun Chen-Huei graduated in cinematography at the National Arts School of Taïwan. She arrives in France in 2001 and obtains a bachelor’s degree in cinema then a master in plastic arts at the University Paris Seine Saint-Denis, after an education at Le Fresnoy (national studio of contemporary arts, France). Then, she works as animator (after effect) for a weblog of cinema; montage specialist on several films, in particular on « Voyage de ballon rouge » de Hou Hsiao Hsien. She realizes also making-off.
In 2008, she begins her collaboration with the company Eolipile and creates the video illustration for Kung fu dancing.

Hervé GARY
Lighting designer
Since 1973, Hervé Gary has contributed to every activity involved in living performances : stage-hand, props-hand, stage manager, technical manager. He has also worked for the cinema. Since 1983, he has focused on lighting design and worked with :
- at the theatre : Philippe Adrien, Marcel Bozonnet, Françoise Petit, Jean-Michel Rabeux, Claude
- at the opera : Marc Adam, Georges Aperghis, Didier Brunel, Patrick Guinan, Michel Jaffrenou, Mikael Lonsdalle, Jean-Marie Sénia
- at the cinema : Yves Amoureux, Boris Bergmann, Yves Commoli, Michel Gérard, Jean-Luc Godard, laude Lelouch, Alain Robbe-Grillet.
He creates the lighting of the Cirque Ici for Johann Le Guillerm. Gaultier, Kenzo, Thierry Muggler Paul Smith, Yamamoto).
In 1999, he designed the lighting for The other and myself (choreographic creation by Anna Huber and Lin Yuan Shang). Then he was the lighting designer for Chinese Bastard, Small travelling choreographic plays, A spark of eternity and Flight |

Catherine Teilhet
Set designer
After a training in stage designing at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts et Techniques and a tree years long experience in firms of architects, Catherine Teilhet became an assistant stage designer and an assistant wardrobe master for performing arts, exhibitions and for the cinema. She worked recently with director Joséphine Flasseur (La Brûlure indienne, 2000, and Fôret noire, 2002) and realized the scenography for exhibitions: « Fashion and child » (Musée Galiera, 2001) and « A child in my street » (Fondations Air France, 2002).
For Eolipile, she designed the scenery of Chinese Bastard, consisting of screens and realized the stage design of the Small travelling choreographic plays. |
